it's a space that the chinese community created FOR the chinese community because they do not have access to blogging platforms like tumblr.com that are operated out of china

This is the internet, though. There's no borders on the internet.
If it's server space you're worried about, I doubt we'll have too much of an effect. Assuming that Chinese bloggers blog at the same time we do (respective to their own time zone), then we shouldn't overlap and crash anything.
